Our last wedding of 2009 was Corrin and Michael’s New Year’s Eve wedding at Edensor Church and Hassop Hall Hotel.
Corrin was getting ready at her family home and Michael had arrange for a special photo slideshow for Corrin to watch

Corrin loves horses and wanted a horse and carriage to take her to church, but the horses couldn’t do the long journey from her family home in Glossop across to Chatsworth so she was expecting to travel in a family car across to meet the horse and carriage for a shorter journey to church. Michael had secretly arranged for Corrin to have special wedding cars instead – Corrin knew nothing about it and this was her reaction when she saw the cars outside!

Corrin looked absolutely stunning in her wedding gown.

Edensor Church on the Chatsworth Estate is a gorgeous church in a lovely village setting.

Michael, his best man and ushers wait for Corrin’s arrival.

Michael is a submariner and his colleagues were also smartly dressed for the wedding.

Gorgeous bouquet.

Corrin’s sisters and best friend were excellent bridesmaids and made sure Corrin’s dress was kept off the ground.

The driveway at Hassop Hall Hotel makes for a grand entrance for the horse and carriage.

The tables were beautifully dressed.

It was quite chilly outside so we had a quick walk around the gardens with Corrin and Michael.

Michael wanted to impress us and lifted Corrin up and twirled her around

Hassop’s pianist kept the guests entertained during the drinks reception.

Corrin’s brother gave Corrin away and he also gave a lovely and entertaining speech.

Corrin and Michael had named each of their 10 tables after one of the twelve days of Christmas. As an interlude between speeches, each table sang it’s own line whilst standing up to perform it. The top table started with “Twelve drummers drumming” and also finished with the last line “A partridge in a pear tree”! Here is the photograph of their finale!

The best man, also Michael’s brother, was entertaining and brought up some funny stories about Corrin!

Michael and Corrin’s first dance was “With or Without You” by U2.

Congratulations to Michael and Corrin!
