Humanist Ceremony at Rudding Park
We experienced our first Humanist ceremony at Rudding Park on Sunday. It was one of the most lovely and heartfelt ceremonies we have been to. The words that Emma and Andrew chose with their Humanist Celebrant were beautiful.
Emma and Andrew have a 9 month old baby and during the getting ready she was having a sleep. Here she is, so sweet! Emma’s wedding dress is hanging up in the window. It’s a Justin Alexander bridal gown, another gown covered with lace and a lace shrug. I really love dresses with lace, so elegant and beautiful.

Little bridesmaids always feel like princesses when they put their dresses on, but this little bridesmaid posed like one too!

And here is Emma, looking stunning in her wedding gown.

Here is Emma with her bouquet, it was such a wonderful creation.

Emma and Andrew had a humanist ceremony in the chapel at Rudding Park. They had the legal marriage ceremony a few weeks previously, but wanted something much more personal for what they considered their real wedding.

Emma and Andrew’s wedding was coordinated by the super-organised Jo Green of Affinity Weddings in Sheffield. Jo helped put all Emma and Andrew’s ideas into reality, including the room decoration.

There was a lovely relaxed atmosphere all day.

Ending with funny stories being told at the speeches…

And a romantic first dance.

Congratulations Emma and Andrew!
Update: The whole set of photographs from Emma and Andrew’s wedding day are now online.
