Sandie and Andy married at Hassop Hall and managed to pick one of the nicest days of the month, the weather was perfect for enjoying the gardens at Hassop.

Charlotte and Stephen | Sutton Bonington Hall, Loughborough

Charlotte and Stephen married at Sutton Bonington Hall

Charlotte was getting ready at home with the girls.

Lovely details.

Meanwhile the boys were getting ready at the best man’s house.

Charlotte had the best chauffeur service possible – driven to Sutton Bonington Hall by her dad in his own immaculate 1961 MkII Jaguar.  He’s been restoring it for the last three years and it looked fabulous.

Meanwhile the boys arrive at Sutton Bonington Hall.

Then it was Charlotte’s turn to arrive.

Then the ceremony was quickly underway!

Then it was outside to the gardens

Sutton Bonington Hall is a beautiful venue.

More gorgeous details including the top of the cheese stack (instead of the standard wedding cake, Charlotte and Steve chose to have a cheese stack).

Guests enjoyed drinks inside the house.

Then it was time for dinner and Steve and Charlotte are announced into dinner.

Charlotte and Steve provided modelling balloons for the guests and everyone competed to win a prize for the best model :)

Charlotte shows off her rabbit model!

Charlotte’s dad kicked off the speeches…

…bringing props with him!

Steve’s best man did a great job of entertaining everyone with stories about Steve.

After the speeches Charlotte and Steve cut their cheese stack and enjoyed some of cheese themselves :)

Then it was back out into the gardens for some garden games.

The atmosphere was lovely in the house after dark.

Charlotte and Steve did their first dance to “Perfect Day”.

Then the party got started with groovy lights and some serious dancing!

Congratulations to Charlotte and Stephen!

Elizabeth and Philip married at Gaynes Park in Essex.

Elizabeth chose some lovely and pretty accessories.

The venue was very pretty with soft pink gerberas and chiffon bows decorating the chairs.

Guests gathered and enjoyed the gardens before the ceremony.

The bouquets were gorgeous.

Elizabeth’s dad walked her through the gardens to the orangery where the ceremony took place.

It’s not everyday that a wedding has such special guests as these donkeys, Jack and Del Boy!

More gorgeous details :)

The speeches are always entertaining and allow for some great expressions to be captured.

The band got the party started!

The last shot of the night as the party gets going :)

Congratulations to Elizabeth and Philip!

Catherine & Jeremy | Crosthwaite Church and Punch Bowl Pub

Filed under Church of England,Weddings Tags: , , , , , , , , , , — • Written by Alison @ 9:29 pm

Cat and Jez married at the picturesque Crosthwaite Church in the Lake District and had a lovely relaxed reception at the Crosthwaite Punch Bowl pub.  Photos began with Catherine getting ready at the Punch Bowl.

This was the view out of Cat’s room, the “Noble” room at the Punch Bowl.

Here is Jez helping one his groomsmen with his cravat.

Meanwhile Cat is putting her gorgeous wedding gown on with the help of her bridesmaids.

A quick dose of Bach’s rescue remedy and it was time to leave!

It rained on and off during the day, but the weather didn’t make any difference to the celebrations.

Confetti!

Jez shares some memories with videos on his phone…

Catherine’s dad makes his final check of his speech.

Between courses we went outside with Jez and Cat for a 10 minute wander and portraits.

Then after the meal was finished it was time for Jez’s speech and his best-men’s speeches too.

The best men had prepared a fabulous spoof DVD for Jez and it was hilarious!

Jez is in a band, “The Forgeries” and they entertained the guests after dinner!

Congratulations to Cat and Jez!

Sarah and Luke | Darton Church and Woolley Village

Sarah and Luke married at Darton Church on what started as a damp day.  It didn’t dampen everyone’s spirits and a wonderful day was enjoyed by all the guests.
