We spent the day yesterday at Bolsover Castle in Derbyshire for Katie and Chris’s wedding.
Katie got ready at a family home and looked fabulous in her custom designed wedding gown.

Here is Katie holding her veil during the journey to the castle.

Bolsover is a fabulous venue, a great setting for a first kiss as husband and wife!

Katie and Chris then went outside and waited by the entrance to the walled garden to greet their guests.

Guests then enjoyed the drinks reception in the walled garden.

Katie looked stunning.

Even the rain makes for great photographic opportunities.

Then it was back to the riding hall for the wedding breakfast.

After dinner a ceilidh band set up and everyone got up to join Chris and Katie for their first dance.

Swing your partner by the hand!

Congratulations to Katie and Chris!
We were back at Hassop Hall near Bakewell in Derbyshire yesterday. Hassop is one of our favourite venues and we’re lucky to live so close. It was Natalie and Aubrey’s special day and the weather was glorious!
Here is Natalie with her family and friends enjoying a glass of champagne while getting ready in the morning.

The ceremony was held in the ballroom, here is Aubrey smiling as he catches a glimpse of Natalie as she enters with ballroom on her father’s arm.

As soon as Natalie and Aubrey were pronounced man and wife, Aubrey eagerly kissed Natalie before the registrar even had a chance to say “you may now kiss the bride!” They both laughed and it was a lovely moment for everyone. Natalie wore a Pronovias gown with a sweetheart neckline and an asymmetric skirt.

Then it was outside through a confetti tunnel and onto the lawns for drinks and meeting their family and friends.

Hassop looked resplendent in the sunshine.

Time for some romance!

Natalie took her veil off after the ceremony and her young cousin enjoyed wearing it for the rest of the day!

Natalie and Aubrey greeted all of their guests on the way into dinner. Here they are sharing a moment as they wait to receive their guests.

I love photographing the first dance and Natalie and Aubrey certainly enjoyed their dance.

Congratulations to Natalie and Aubrey!

We spent the day in Wakefield to photograph the civil wedding of Michelle and Ryan at Waterton Park Hotel and Walton Hall.
We started the day with photographs of getting ready. A young bridesmaid was absorbed with her mobile phone.

Mum was absorbed in getting the dress fastened right!

Then the ceremony.

There were a few cameras about…

… including Gran!

A few minutes for portraits with Michelle and Ryan.

Time for speeches before dinner.

The dancing was really fun to photograph.

Congratulations to Michelle and Ryan!
