Fiona and David | Hassop Hall, nr Bakewell, Derbyshire
It was another wintery day at Hassop Hall on New Year’s Eve for Fiona and David’s wedding. This time the weather was brighter and there were no power cuts! The day started with Fiona’s preparations.

Fiona’s Dad’s first look at Fiona looking stunning in her Sassi Holford wedding gown and jacket.

Meanwhile David was having the final discussions with the registrar.

Fiona had a view from a top floor bedroom across to the ballroom so she was spying on late arrivals!

Then it was over to the ballroom for the ceremony!

After the ceremony everyone had a glass of mulled wine (the smell was fantastic!) and then we had a few minutes for portraits.

Groom’s tend to fiddle with their new wedding ring…

Fiona and David had some very original place names – baubles with names on them, all handmade too.

The speeches were entertaining with some amusing childhood stories from the father of the bride and the best man.

The last formal part of the day was the first dance.

Congratulations to Fiona and David!
